These terms are an agreement between you and ITAG-USA ("we," "us") about your use of worldview.itag-usa.org and the Worldview Assessment ("the service"). By using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
1. What the service is
The Worldview Assessment is a structured questionnaire that scores your responses across ten dimensions and matches you to one of ten archetypes. It produces:
- A free 30-question reading available to anyone, with no account required.
- A full 80-question reading unlocked by a one-time Pi Network payment.
- A comparison report when two completed assessments are paired.
2. What the service is not
The Worldview Assessment is a reflective tool, not a clinical or diagnostic instrument. It is not:
- Mental health diagnosis, treatment, or therapy
- Medical, legal, financial, or psychological professional advice
- A hiring, screening, or admissions instrument
- A predictor of behavior, performance, or any outcome about you or anyone else
- A substitute for human judgment in any consequential decision
Don't use the results to make hiring decisions, deny services, evaluate someone's fitness for a relationship, or any other consequential action where the framework wasn't designed to be load-bearing. The archetypes are descriptive, not predictive.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. By using it, you confirm you meet that age requirement. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16; see the Privacy Notice.
4. Your account and sessions
You don't need an account to use the free quiz. Your results are tied to an anonymous session id; we recognize you on return visits through a session token and a value in your browser's local storage.
If you sign in with Pi Network to unlock the full assessment, you authorize us to receive your Pi username and uid and to associate them with your session. You are responsible for keeping your Pi account secure. We are not Pi Network and we don't control your Pi wallet, balance, or login.
5. Pi Network payments
Unlocking the full assessment requires a payment in Pi (currently π 3.14). Payments are processed by the Pi Network platform; we receive only a confirmation that the payment cleared, not your wallet credentials.
Pi payments are final once confirmed on-chain. If a payment confirms but your account didn't unlock, contact support@itag-usa.org and we'll manually unlock you. We can't reverse a confirmed Pi transaction — that's a Pi Network mechanic, not ours. If the payment failed or you never actually paid, you owe nothing.
Pricing may change over time; any change applies to future purchases only.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit responses that aren't yours (taking the quiz on behalf of someone without their knowledge invalidates the read)
- Scrape the question bank, the archetype profiles, or any other intellectual property, or use them to train competing models without written permission
- Attempt to bypass the Pi payment requirement or otherwise abuse the unlock flow
- Use the comparison feature to publish or share another person's results without their consent
- Probe, scan, or attempt to breach the service's security
- Use the service to harass, defame, or discriminate against anyone — including by characterizing them publicly based on archetype results
- Reuse our content (questions, archetype copy, dimension interpretations) in derivative products without written permission
7. Intellectual property
The framework — the ten dimensions, the ten archetypes, the question bank, the band readings, the PDFs, the design, and the code — is owned by ITAG-USA. You receive a personal, non-commercial license to use the service for your own reflection and for non-commercial sharing with people you know.
Your assessment responses and contact information remain yours. We hold them in trust to provide the service and per the Privacy Notice. You can request deletion at any time.
8. Your content and consent
By using the service, you grant us permission to process your responses to compute and display your reading. If you opt in to share contact information, you also authorize us to contact you about your results and (if you check the consent box) about product updates. You can withdraw any of this at any time.
9. Service availability
We try to keep the service up and responsive, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime. We may take the service offline for maintenance, updates, or in response to security incidents. We don't owe refunds for downtime, except where required by law.
10. Changes to the service
We may add, remove, or change features over time. We may also revise the question bank, archetype centroids, or band interpretations as the framework evolves. Your existing scores are computed at the moment you submit; we won't silently rewrite your historical results, but a re-take after a framework update may produce different output.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
The archetypes and band readings are not validated against any clinical, occupational, or normed psychometric instrument. They are descriptive frameworks intended to support reflection and conversation.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ITAG-USA AND ITS OFFICERS, AGENTS, AND VOLUNTEERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS OR (B) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ITAG-USA from any claim, demand, or liability — including reasonable attorney's fees — arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third party's rights.
14. Termination
You can stop using the service at any time. We can suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or pose a security or legal risk to other users. On termination, the obligations that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, liability limits, disclaimers, governing law) survive.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that the parties can't resolve informally will be submitted to the state or federal courts located in Comal County, Texas, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction. If you're a consumer outside the United States, this provision doesn't strip you of any non-waivable rights you have under your local law.
16. Changes to these terms
We'll post updated terms with a new effective date at the top. For material changes, we'll also notify you where we have contact information. Continuing to use the service after the new terms take effect means you accept them. If you don't accept them, stop using the service.
